2 straight nights of watching BAMBOO!

OH MY GAAAAAHHHHHDDD!!!! i love my sem break!! it hardly even started yet and i went to 2 concerts on 2 consecutive nights! ok, maybe i should start from the beginning...

on friday me and alana were planning to go to the bamboo/sugarfree concert in san beda, but we had problems on how we were gonna get tickets, suddenly at the last minute kylie offered me tickets so we were like yay! but something came up and she couldnt give the tickets to us after all, [thanks anyway kylie! mwaah] but we decided to go anyway and take a chance with the tickets, we got lucky cuz they were still selling when we got there... anyway, somehow, alana and i were able to snag a spot in the SECOND ROW!!!!!!!! we were so freakin giddy.
we had to stand the whole time but it was so worth it.
sugarfree wasnt that great, the only song i really enjoyed was hari ng sablay...

anyway, it was finally time for BAMBOO, i was screaming my head off, they were sooooooooo good!!!! and their guitarist (ira cruz) is so cute!!! daaammnnnn!
*new celeb crush: local: ira cruz, international: jesse mccartney... sorry zac efron, its over! XD* and besides his being cute, he plays guitar soooo well!!! grabe me and alana were really "tumitili"~

MOMENT!!!
there was a point where they sang waiting in vain, and bamboo came over to our side of the stage,
he looked at and pointed at alana while singing "I DONT WANNA WAIT IN VAIN FOR YOUR LOVE" AAAAAAH!!! kiliiiiiiiiiiiiiig
i had my moment too when he grabbed a chair and sat right in front of me and he was like, looking at me!! gaaaaah!! i was freaking out!! *starstruck*

after the show, me and alana managed to go past the barricade thing (thank God for alanas press pass!!! yaaay! ) and we were about to go backstage so alana could talk to the manager about getting bamboo for her gig in school, and we were already backstage with ira cruz like 5 FEET AWAY but suddenly the guard pushed us out!!! grar. sayang!!! i also recently found out that my mom and ira cruz's mom are actually good friends!!! so theres a chance maybe ill get to meet him!!! AAAAH!!!

i also saw angela there!! finally after ages of not seeing each other~ hehehe she was with you-know-who (ITS VOLDEMORT!!! weeehh corny...) hehehe....

Today

today we were supposed to meet up with sila xandra, tani, and sila lachelle, but xandra couldnt come and tani had to leave early, so it was just us girls tonight~ we watched the concert of bamboo (again) in town,*ira cruz!!! XD* it was nice too but the crowd was really err... different, as in on the way there there were these weirdo guys who were like whistling at us and they were like "yo, wassup?" eewwww, what an ass. i was glad to know alana gave them the finger. bwahaha. oh yeah!

asshole feeling cool guys aside, the concert was really nice, we couldnt freak out as much as last night, but it was still ok~
my ears are ringing from the 2 consecutive nights of concerts~ i feel half deaf hahaha...
and before we left we even bumped into sila bea, justin, and i met some new people too~ so we chatted a bit then we had to go na...


wow... what a weekend huh? i think im gonna sleep in tonight, we've been sleeping so late these days im lacking sleep O_o

as you can see i have a new skin, blame crusty and miera!!! i asked them if my blog was malfunctioning in their comps like it was in mine, and they said yes. they were lying!! but crusty told me too late so i changed the blogskin for nothing! grar. =P

haaaaaaay.... it feels like its been such a long time since i last posted... our comp broke down, AGAIN!! *sigh*

anyway.. what happened recently.... ermm...
well....

we had no classes on tuesday! yippee... i went to town with alana, tani, and our new friends (from italy! XD) lachelle, aisha (is that the spelling? ^^) and kitty... it was fun, we chatted alot and gave them some tips on pinoy stuff :D it was nice to out with other people for a change, we went around looking for outfits for the supposed halloween party coming up~ etc....

as for today we hardly had any classes cuz of the merienda buffet of the sophies~ theirs is SO much better than ours was!!! grar.
anyway, it was the trick or treat day of the grade school.. instead of giving out candies, we ended up the ones asking for candy from them!! it was so funny.. all the kids were so cute!!

anyway... good news... i FINALLY have a digicam!!!! woohooo!!! oh no.. im gonna turn into a camwhore! hahahaha bad news is i cant use it till december 11 when my dad gets back from london (he brought it with him)
he just left today~ no fair, he gets to see half the world while im stuck here doing homework hmpf. oh well....

and now that we have a digicam, i have a better reason to create a multiply account!!!
buuuuttt... im getting really confused lately with all these network sites...

yeheeeeeyy~ its mah birthday!! ^^

well, actually it was yesterday (oct 14)... but still!!
first and foremost, i wanna thank all my friends and family who greeted me!! thanks!! mwaah! it was so funny cuz at around midnight i got a flood of happy birthday messages hahaha
also thanks for the gifts from my friends and family! i really appreciate it! mwah!! ^^
anyway, on friday we all went out to town for my birthday and i treated my friends to shakeys (we got so annoyed with the service! hmpf!) anyway, we also took pics, (down with plastic smiles!! ) and we cam-whored with our *ahem* unique poses (pics coming soon) and we didnt watch a movie cuz the movie schedules were not too good, so we just window-shopped, etc..

yesterday, i was so peacefully sleeping when alana and my mom barged into my room and dragged my out of bed to open my presents... it was so freakin funny XD
anyway, later that day toto (its what we call our lolo) came over and stuff, he had to stay with us a little while cuz theyre painting in tita carens house and the smell is bad for him~ anyway, later that day me and my mom went out to the bazaar in alabang, and i saw isha there! thanks for remembering my birthday dear! ^^ anyway, we checked out the place, etc... alot of cute stuff... but their Christmas bazarre was better...
after alabang we went to south to buy some stuff for the party on sunday (today!) so we grabbed some chips, drinks, yaddayaddayadda...

upon arriving home, there was nothing left to do but use the comp,read, walk around, blahblah...
later that night at around 9-ish, chevy picked up bea, alana and I to go to erics despedida (he's going back to the states)~ we chatted, played kokology, jammed and stuff... long story short, we got home at around 2. I was soooo sleepy cuz i had hardly any sleep the previous night and i was out all afternoon that day!! gaaahh

anyway, today the family came over and i hung out in the park with the kids, and later on we were joined my tita caren, tita concon and tito mon, we even played 21 basketball, (i scored like 8 points!! yippee! XD ) it was so funny, and my team won! ^^

as for now, im just here typing this... *sigh* long tests start tomorrow.. noooo.... wish me luck... waaa i dont wanna have the tests yet!!! its too soon!!! T-T

Intrams!!!!!

yes, we just had our yearly intrams...
this year was kinda bittersweet... know why? it would have been ok if only SOMEONE hadnt set soooooo many stupid rules and if SOMEONE hadnt ordered our jerseys and cheering outfits so late~
*someone= ms ricafort. duh.

anyway, on the first day it was the continuation of our eliminations.. in volleyball it was our first game (since SOMEONE messed up the elimination schedule and didnt even let the students watch the games. ) our first game was against the 2nd yr, we were actually really nervous at first cuz they were the ones who beat us in the finals last year, but amazingly we won ^^.. the 2nd game was against 1st yr, and we won that too... we were already in for the finals but we had to play a game against the seniors for the sake of doing it, (which we won too! yaaaay! ^^) nice game to everyone, we had fun ^^
anyway, the finals would be 3rd vs 4th yr in both mens and womens volleyball~ yippee ^^

2nd day, championships day and cheering competition!! the anxiety was fluttering around all of us!!
we won the mixed doubles for badminton!! yaaay! congrats carla t. and noel!! ^^
unfortunately, we lost the mens volleyball.. .waaa~ nice game guys! :)
we thought our game was next but they changed the sched at the last minute and it was cheering next--
it was so cute what our team did to customize the PE uniforms since SOMEONE didnt order the uniforms on time... i love the hair girls!! hahahaha basta just look for the pics of it in my friends' multiply-s ^^

during the dance, there was a part where me and minji had to do a bridge while the rest of the pep squad made a pyramid... after that we were all disoriented of course, but it was our next stunt na that involved carrying letters, but crusty got my letter U in stead of her O, so our placards ALMOST read JONIURS, buti nalang we were able to switch them before being carried and raising them.. hahahaaaa...
we were all so paos after that XD

right after that it was the volleyball finals (*looks around nervously*)
so we changed and started the game... everything was going fine until SOME PEOPLE (you know who you are.) started distracting us during service right at the endline!!! it was so annoying, because of them i think 2 of my serves went out. mean people. there's a difference between shouting "side out" from far away from doing what they did. well, whats done is done... cant do anything about that...
anyway, long story short, the seniors won, (Congrats you guys!!!! nice game! ^^) alot of us cried (myself included XP) because its the 3rd yr in a row that we get to the finals and dont win, but... we'll have our chance next year :)
but that was all made up for when we were announced the WINNERS OF THE CHEERING COMPETITION!!!! yaaaaaaaaayy!!!!! grabe we were suuuuper happy, we were jumping all over the place XD
so it was a happy intrams after all... :) congrats juniors!!! it was all worth it in the end!! all our hard work paid off!
congrats seniors for winning overall champs!! ^^

as plastic as it sounds, win or lose, we all won... because we all practiced so hard even though SOMEONE banned us from doing so. hahahahaahaha

Saturday-- no idea reunion!!

yeheeeeeyy!!! i missed these people soooooo much!!!! no idea (pam, mikki, micah, ken, aileen) came over and we hung out and jammed, and had our bonding sessions as usual... damn, i miss doing that!!!
we ordered our dinner from big apple, it was sooooo goood! hehehe especially the taco thingy... we even played this stupid game that we all have to keep quiet and the 1st one to talk or make any sound at all will treat us for sex-press and the 2nd for starbucks... alana and micah lost so we had starbucks later on.. hehehe thanks micah!! ^^
we hung out in the park and we made kwento about everything and everyone under the sun... i even played seesaw with my dear anak pammy XD
later we watched philippine idol, yadda yadda yadda~
after PI we went to starbucks na and micah treated us!! yippeee~
after that we had to go home na etc~


anyway... back to school tomorrow... *sigh* no more intrams... T-T i have reporting pa naman in history.. waah... back to reality~~~

Whoa.

what a weekend. [well, not exactly weekend, just the period of time since my last update]
so much stuff has happened i dont even know where to start.

errr...

well, i guess i should start with the storm~ according to the newspaper, it was the strongest storm in 11 years!! stupid milenyo....

on thursday i thought it would be just like any other storm but i found it was totally different when we started hearing some loud rumbling noise coming from our roof---- the wind was tearing it off!!! i was soooo freaked out~ after a while, i heard a loud crash outside and when i looked out the window i saw a piece of our roof was now in the garden!! just when i thought it couldnt get worse, ANOTHER piece was ripped off and fell onto our terrace! to add to my already fried nerves, my mom wasnt home and alana was sick [so she couldnt get too wet or tired] so i was the only one who could help my dad put rags and containers under all the leaks and bring in the dogs, etc....
i started freaking out even more when my parents told us to start packing some clothes cuz we might have to evacuate the house [the whole roof couldve flown off cuz of the air pocket made by the new hole or something...] but we decided to stay when the storm started calming down...


it was 4 whole days with no water, electricity, cellphones (mine died the day of the storm) and landline. It was driving me insane. I settled with just reading, playing with the dogs, and walking aimlessly around the house....

it wasnt easy, but it really put everything into perspective--- i had to suffer like that for 4 days, but for alot of people, they go through that every single day, its their norm. It shows how we take what we have for granted and after a while we lost our gratefulness for what we have, when some people would do ANYTHING to have at least a bit of decent light for their homes. I realized then how dependent we really are on those things we lost in the storm. But it couldve been worse, i couldve been in the situation of those people whose homes were ruined by the storm, those who DIED. But i wasnt, and im grateful for that :)


anyway, ill move on now to today!
monday... back to school... *sigh*
i got soooo annoyed cuz angelo scared me!!!

ms almoite: carla, how can you not know that?? you had several days to prepare!!

lolo *laughing his head off*: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! joke lang!!! its really on wednesday!!!!

waaaaa.... they were all in on it!! even ms almoite!! T-T i got so freaked out that i would get a low grade for not having my outfit T-T

at dismissal, i was talking to klar, and suddenly crusty and nikki came out of nowhere and started calling me snobby for doing something i had no idea i did! etc...but i explained and we set things right ^^ so to set things straight for everyone, i dont mean to seem snobby, (i found out in VE that some people think so..) and im sorry if i do, i swear i dont wanna be thought of as snobbish!! so just help me out ok? :)

anyway, after school, we snuck out of the building and hung out in the stairs area~ (me, crusty, nour, klarisse, angelo, deki, nikki, kai...) and we made kwento, blahblahblah....

later on most of them left, the only ones left were me kai and deki... deki was walking around while me and kai talked about.... *ahem* err.... stuff....stuff that i dont wanna tell you about hahaha *wink*wink*

kai: awww!!!! ang cute!!!!!!!!!
me: yeah!!!
deki: huh?? whats cute?!

heheh not listening kasi!! XP


anyway, kai and hideki left after a while and i was all alone *sniff* i think i was the only 3rd year left there!!
so i just sat there and watched the 1st yrs practice...
later on i saw ms almoite there so i went to her and sat there to watch too~ we talked and stuff, and she offered to let me text on her phone since it was getting late and stormy... so we went to the staffhouse and when she came back out she said she had no load so she told me to go back to the building while she goes to buy load!!! awww!!! when she got back she said the person selling load wasnt there so she looked for a cellphone from her 1st yr students!! awww!!! i've never seen a teacher do something that nice before :) thanks ma'am!!!! ^^

anyway, i eventually got home [duh] and im now typing this! [duuuuhhh]
the song STUCK IN THE MOMENT is currently stuck in my head...haaayyy...

you've got to get yourself together you got stuck in the moment... and you cant get out of it....

oh yeah i forgot, i found out today that im actually a descendant of a tomato and a camel (according to kai's hyper imagination during comp time XD) hahahahhaaaaa
so im a TOMAMEL?!?!?! O_o
