Let the games begin

yup.. today was the opening of the sports event in our village... me and lei joined badminton and volleyball, and alana joined volleyball lang.

we got there at about 8 30 to get our uniforms and stuff...
but apparantly, they werent distributing the uniforms yet, so we listened to mass first~

Weird much?
while i was sitting there listening to mass, this kid came up to me and he pointed at some dude who i couldnt see and he said that that guy said im pretty.
i was flattered, but i was more annoyed.
i hate it when people do that. [as in asking someone else to say stuff for them]
its just not right.

Team uniforms~
I dont have my volleyball jersey yet, but i got my badminton shirt.
its waaaaayyyy too big for me.
its like a dress for me in length, and you could fit 2 of me in the width of the shirt O_o
oh well...
im on the white team by the way..
and in volleyball im on the yellow team (tigers? bwahaha)

Lunch
I had to be back at the court at 12-something, so we went out for an early dinner at jollibee~
we actually skipped the parade of the teams.. dunno why though... i was just following alana :))
i even saw my teammate in volleyball there... la lang...

Even weirder... much much weirder
at last it was time for badminton, i went there alone, since alana didnt need to come till volleyball time~
bad move.
i was going to the court and some dude (probably the one from kanina) came up to me and he was like asking if he could make "pakilala"blahblahblah.... I saw right through his stupid plastic pick-up line.
so i was like "wait lang" and i never came back out.
this may be normal for most people, but im not "most people".
in the court, the dude another dude got on the mic and were bugging me like hell
asking me to go there, asking for my number, etc...
i hated that. once again, my tolerance for these things is VERY short.


first game
i somehow ended up in mixed doubles. dont ask how, i have no idea. i dont really kow much about badminton doubles, but i guess there's a first time for everything...

my partner was actually elgimaine's brother~ and we played against the blue team~
in the first set, we won, i dont really remember the score, i couldnt see the board cuz the writing was so light~

during the second set,alana and my dad came, signalling me tips from the bench~
we won again! ^^ once again, i dont know what the score was~
hahaha...

Ive been planning to post this segment for a while now, but the thing with those weird dudes gave me all the more reason to post it

things most girls hate about most guys

***take note, this does not target all guys, just the ones who actually do the following
also, be happy that im posting this, consider it as "guidelines"


1. NEVER EVER EVER judge us by the way we look. If looks are the reason you like someone, youve got your values all screwed up.

2. We hate it when guys act like we're robots or something, that whatever they ask, well agree or not take it as an insult. We have feelings too. Some more complex than others.

3. When they try to skip the "friends" stage. When they think that we're ok with going from strangers to dating without being friends first. i personally HATE this. Most of us are NOT ok with this

4. When they think that being cocky is impressive.
wow. who the hell thought that cocky=cool!?
please, do us a favor and shrink down those overinflated heads.
Your ego is suffocating us.

5. when they cant take a hint. We try to politely tell them to go away, yet they just dont get it! noooo, it has to get ugly before they back off

6. Having "messengers" or "bridges" or whatever you call them... It doesnt work to have someone else do something for you. Its so insensitive.

7. LYING. Dont think for a second that we cant see through lies. Its a 6th sense with girls, we know when they lie. Your noses grow! hahaha XD

Subic!!! ^^

i just got home from subic yesterday! it was sooooo fun!
it was our band's (No Idea) road trip! last year we went to tagaytay, and this year we went to Subic!

In the car
we were in the car for about 4 hours but it was fun naman, the 4 of us squeezed into the trunk of the pajero and we loaded our bags and stuff and we were off!

There was this car behind us, with a dude driving and a kid inthe passenger seat. We were like




mikki: do you think that guy's the kid's dad or big brother?
Us: huh?
Mikki: that guy *points*
Us: Oh
me: i dunno...
pam: hmm...
alana: he looks too young to be a dad
mikki: well, maybe he's a young dad
me: unless he's the brother
pam: well, they look the same
me: but they would look the same whether he was the dad or the brother
mikki: but he's driving fast, and if he were the dad, he wouldnt let the kid sit in from in the first place
alana: has it ever occured that they may not be related at all??



it went on and on like that till we lost the car hahaha

there was also this thing where mikki asked pam to ask her parents something, little did he know that pam said it like

Mikki wants to know...

which we all made fun of and make several versions such as
Mikki is asking... mikki is confused whether... mikki would like to have an idea on... mikki would like to make an inquiry about...

hahahaha!!!


eventually we got there... YAY! subic!! ^^


In Subic!

When we got there it was already kinda dark so we had our activities the next day, until then, we hung out on the balcony doing kokology, playing cards, chatting, and we even called up micah [who we pranked about...something ;P] and ken [hala!] miss you guys!!
we even freaked out cuz of the tuko hahaha
and we had this HUGE 16-slice-american-sized-pizza for dinner! wow.
we stayed up till about 3

The next day...
we all woke up at about 9-ish and had breakfast and stuff...
the first thing we did was go swimming,
we swam for such a long time! from about 10 to 1:30!
we were playing with the hose thing [affectionately called "the spa"]
and we swam alot...
after a while we got out of the pool, but mikki still wanted to swim...
guess what he did.
He dragged me and Pam and THREW us into the pool!!
the unfortunate part is, they got it all on video O_o

after swimming we walked back to the house, dressed up, etc and we had lunch~ [the steak was sssoooooooo good!!!!]

later on, we went to this place that had a platform thingy over 15-meter-deep water, and we brought a loaf of bread to feed the fishes, they were so nice! really really colorful and there were easily more than 100 fishes eating the bread! haha!

we also went to this camp thing, that had extreme-ish activities, like climbing a really tall pole then jumping to hit a ball tied to a cable on top, climbing another tall pole, crossing to the log sticking out and jumping off and that thing wehre you hold a bar and slide down the cable...

we did the cable thingy, it was so cool! it wasnt that scary, it was more fun than scary, and the view was so pretty, monkeys everyhere
its like we had to cross 2 suspended bridges then climb up to the platform on the tree, grab the bar and slide down to the next suspended bridge~ it was fun~ ^^

after that it was time to go, we piled back into the car and left for manila at about 7 and we got home at 10-something
we mostly slept and listened to the ipod on the way home~

Beach!!! [again]

i just got home from Eaglepoint, Anilao yesterday!
i spent 3 days-2nights there [thursday-saturday]
here's what happened (get ready for a really long post) :

Day One: Cruisin'

I woke up at 6:00 with a really heavy head and a pounding headache, i guess its from lack of sleep... i eventually got up anyway and headed to the car~
the trip took us 4 hours cuz of all the traffic, it was insane... i woke up after a while and started laughing cuz the jeep in from of our car had 2 white objects sticking out of the back window... it was a guys feet!! i think he fell asleep with his feet out the window... i even took a pic! ill put it here when i can scan all the pics :D

We finally got to eaglepoint at 11-something, we met up with the carandangs and we took the speedboat to Sepoc Island [it was sssssooooooooo nice!!!] it was fun with all the water splashing at us from the waves
We even saw Willy [the wowowee guy] there~ his jetskis were so cool
we snorkelled for a while with alana, monique, pao, and tito mon
the fishes were so cute, and they werent the kind that got scared when you went near

We took so many pics with the underwater cam.. i cant wait to develop the film!

After we had lunch, i decided to go kayaking with pao and the others would hang on till we got to the cave, which was kinda far
we hung out in the cave for a while until it was time to go back
on the way back, me monique and tito mon were in the kayak, which was not good...

half way to shore, the kayak tipped over!! we all fell off and i cut my foot on a really nasty sharp coral and it really hurt so they let me climb back in the kayak while the others swam [we couldnt risk the kayak falling again!]

after sepoc, we went on tito ramon's yacht where we joined tito ramon, laura and andrew. and we took a trip around the whole Marikaban island~
we spent alot of the day cruising around, enjoying the view and the wind and the water splashing at us... we kept waving at the people in the other boats! hahaha!

at the end of the day, i was so....salty XD

Day Two: Island (s)hopping

Tito ramon woke us up really early so we all got dressed and stuff... too bad xandro couldnt come, he wouldve loved the view...
We all got onto the yacht again and we left!
we sailed for about an hour, enjoying the really nice view...
we even saw a school on the shoreline, imagine studying with the beach right outside the window!! wooooooww.....

then we were close... i could see the giant bottle of pepsi and the giant can of beer...
we went all the way to Puerto Galera!!! and there were soooooo many people!!

i went straight to shopping!! while the others were having a drink, i went to a nearby shop and bought a pink puerto galera shirt~
i wanted to get a henna tattoo but there was no time... we spent about an hour there
after buying my tshirt, i sat down with the others and had an iced tea... and a girl came up to me with a huge bundle of anklets the were super cute!! i figured they must be the baguio price (P10 per piece) but she said 3 pieces for P10!!! i was awed... and i bought 6 =D

we all got up and went to the tiangge nearby, i bought reversible board shorts for only P100!!
and its normally about 300+ for those! ^^ wheeeee!

after all our shopping was done, we took the speedboat to a nearby cove everyone [except me and laura] jumped off and it was my turn, i crawled to the edge of the boat and felt the water...it was freezing cold!! after about 5 mins of whining about how cold it was, i decided to finally jump off... i thought the water was shallow, it looked so! i thought it would just reach until my waist but when i jumped in, i went underwater till over my head! hahaha!!

then we had lunch on the yacht... it was so good

then it was time to go back to anilao... and the carandangs left for home~
so me and my dad went spilunking (exploring) on the shoreline and we climbed the huge volcanic rocks and watched the really nice sunset~

Day Three: Swimming with the Sharks

This was our last day in anilao... but we wanted to go for a swim before we left so i suggested we go to the shark pool and we did!

the sharks were sssooooooo CUTE!! i wanted to touch them but they kept swimming away...
i think there were about 10 sharks, there was also one really big turtle [also really cute!!] there were 2 sunfish that were about 2 dangkals (?) big, and one fish that looked like a cartoon! haha!
we took some pics with the sharks and stuff... i wanted to stay longer but we had to go soon



So there it is, the most fun 3 days of my summer so far!
ill be going back to anilao soon.. sometime in may =)

i got kinda tan and i have a "swimsuit burn" hahaha... oh well...

Beaaaaaaccch!!

yaaaaaay!! haha i went to Kawayan Cove the other day! [saturday]it was ssoooooooo nice! i went with my mom, my dad, alana, tita lully, camille and sabrina
it was a long drive, we were in the car for about 2 and a half hours... it wasnt too bad though~

when we got there my first thought was
this is paradise!!!
it was super nice, it was white sands blue waters and hardly any people cuz kawayan cove is a private/exclusive place...

at first we just hung out in our open tent and took everything in
after a while we went swimming~ there were some really cute fishes, i saw a clownfish and an angelfish and some fish that was pink yellow and green [i took pics of them with the underwater cam but the pics arent developed yet.. ill post them when i get them :D
its cool that we got to go there cuz my dad and his brothers and sisters spent alot of their childhood there~

i also went kayaking, it was fun~ until camille tipped my boat over hahaha! =P

we went snorkelling where all the rocks were, there were so many cute fishes! and we even saw a jellyfish [not the icky stinging kind]~

then i went kayaking even more and then we had to go na... but it was nice ^^
next beach thing--april 13 in anilao!!! ^^

Yesterday

Yesterday was the birthday of tita nini~ we went to her party in gilmore [i remember going to that place since i was a little kid!]
it was kinda weird to see ginger [lola's dog] there.. but she looks so much happier now she has loads of space to play and so much attention! ^^

me and alana hung out with sila isa and miggy and we all chatted and stuff...

after gilmore we went to narra~ we hung out even more with our cousins and played burnout hahha it was so funny~
xandro [my baby cousin] is so cute!! he kept dancing to the music from the PS2...

after that we went to mass, and back home...

tomorrow

TOWN!!! yaaaay im going to town with my friends... dunno yet whos allowed though... hihihi...
i miss going to town sssooooo much!

~*im catching a cold *sniff* noooo... this is alanas fault... -_-

~*im going to the beach on saturday! yaaaaaay! im gonna go to bamboo beach [aka kawayan cove] i cant wait!!! ^^ weve also got plans to go to anilao (twice!) and possibly bora (if they get us for the modeling thingy)

~*im once again hooked on fushigi yuugi, and i had the really sad realization that guys like tamahome and hotohori dont exist [as in with the chivalry and the loyalty and the nobility of spirit etc].Chivalry hardly exists anymore... So sad~ =(

~*We finished lola's novena... and we also recieved her really old Pato (it means duck) its really cute~ ^^

~*Im ALMOST done with clearance!!! i just have to give my notebook in english and spanish and im done!! wheeeeeee!

~*As those who are close to me know, im extremely forgetful, so i finally bought a whiteboard for my room [so i dont forget all my summer activites! ^^]
