It starts...
oh yes, summer is in the air. The sun, the heat, the gimmicks everyday...
Ive already accepted lolas death, i feel better now knowing shes in a MUCH better place... But it was kinda hard seeing her house being emptied out and her stuff being sold, but we all have to leave our material things someday...
Anyway, a few days ago [monday] most of us went back to school to finish clearance [im almost done!!! i just have to submit my home cooking and im freeeee!] there i met up with nour, then cristina then miera, then minji then nikki... we hung out and did our clearance [we even got kicked out of the library for being "noisy"].... We also exchanged cellphone quotes, which was also fun, i got alot from tricia,miera and cristina.. its so funny *thanks guys! ^^*
After school i was planning to go to town. Problem was i didnt have anyone to go with, and its soooooo boring to go alone so i kept making cristina and everyone else kulit... the whole time we were there. hahahah but she didnt wanna go cuz she said she didnt have enough money [P300 is alot kaya!!] tss... anyway, there was no point trying to convince her, so i texted alex, who also couldnt come..waaahhh
But just when all hope of going to the mall was lost, nour invited everyone to go to sm, [ok, its not town, but its still a mall! and it doesnt matter where you go when youre with your friends ^^] wheeeeeeeee!
SM!
It was me, nour, cristy, minji , iman, tamam and zaid~ we were supposed to go ice skating [i REALLY didnt wanna skate since i was wearing a skirt and sandals] but to my relief, the skating was too expensive hahaha
instead we ate lunch in mcdo, then we walked around...
Then we decided to take pictures! We went to this really cute picture place that had ssssssooooo many props!! [i chose brown animal ears and a crown thingy] we decided to have 1 pose as animals [zaid was the hunter hahaha] and the other with different hat thingies, basta it was so fun!!!!! i think nour has the pics in her blog.. not sure though ill post them when she sends them to me ^^
After taking the pics, we went to.... STORYLAND!!! wahahahaha i felt like a kid again... we played bumper cars [i was driving with iman beside me] we got revenge on everyone! *evil laugh* We kept trying to win the mini golf thing but we never won *awww*
basta it was fuuuun... On the way homw, nours mom stoped by Puregold to buy some stuff... apparantly the life was really long and we were all waiting in the car for AGES~ so we spent the time playing

~*Annoyed*~ before i end this post, i just want to express my annoyance at a certain person. You know who you are. Take a hint and STOP BUGGING ME. Im getting so sick of it, youve been doing this for the longest time, thinking i dont know you. im not that stupid.

Dear lola...
hello lola, this is carla. I know you can hear me, and i dont have to put my thoughts in writing, but i need to do this to feel better. I hope you understand.
Do you remember when i was about 5 or 6, and i would go around your village and pick you a flower? then you would put it in your vase? that day seems so far away now.
Then when we lost lolo, i remember how bad we all felt, especially you. I remember the last day of funerals and they were to cremate him already. You were crying, we all were. After that you got sick. It was nothing at first, we knew you would be alright.
7 years without lolo. in 7 years you developed alzheimers and parkinsons. It was not easy to see you like that. I felt so helpless because i knew there was nothing i could do to make you feel better. You became forgetful sometimes but you could still talk to us, and i was content with that, i thought we could still talk, even till the end.
Then something happened. they took you to the hospital and when you came back, you could hardly talk anymore. One of the last words i heard you say was angeles. But one day you stopped talking altogether.
For 1 year, you suffered the pains of parkinsons, alzheimers and several strokes. I would come and visit you with papa, mama and alana. It was so hard to see you like that, we couldnt talk to you, you couldnt look at us. But i think you could still hear us.
Last last night, we were eating dinner, it was me mama and alana. papa was at your house. Then mama got a call from papa. I didnt hear what he said, but mama and alana went to your house. Before they left, i asked what was happening. and she said that you were gone. I was shocked. It was finally over. Me and alana stopped and prayed for you, then they left. I was alone here at home, they didnt want me to see. I was here, crying, and crying, until there were no more tears to cry. I was sad, but yet i was also happy for you, because i know youre in a better place now. no more pain.
Im thankful for my friends, who besides my family, were there to comfort me when i was here alone that night. THey made me feel better.
Last night was your wake. Everyone was there for you. And you had so many flowers, im sure you loved them. The priest asked us to gather around your urn, to say goodbye. Beside your urn was your wedding picture, you looked so beautiful. We all took a turn to sprinkle holy water on your urn . We were all crying.
Lola, i know you dont want us to be sad, because youre happy now, youre with God and with lolo. And im happy for you too. but im still going to miss you, we love you.

Summer!!!!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! today was the last day of school [awww], our last day as sophomores =(
the day was more of a working day than a partying day~ we were all finishing our clearance!! but im not really done with mine yet so i still have to drop by school and finish my requirements...
anyway, this was a good year for us i guess, alot of nice memories such as:
"le-ja-le-ja" dance for the acquaintance party
the many fun times of the intrams [2nd place! woohoo!!]
the formal dinner, in which i had my first duet performance in school that did not concern mermaids in any way
Basta, there are so many memz that i cant really remember all of them hahahaha! im gonna miss you all! have a great summer classmates!!!
anyway,
but therell be something sadly different next year, we'll have a new history and music/chior teacher! waaaaa!!!! *sniff* T-T
on the bright side...literally
the sun is out, it must be.... SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
i cant wait to begin gimmicking!!! (starting tomorrow! with c3m3n2 ^^) and beach-combing (in anilao!!!) the sun! the sand! aaaahh... im in summer mode already! i signed up for sports and stuff, for those who wanna join the cittadella volleyball team with me, contact me! its freee! hahaha... unfortunately, im not joining trumpets this year... i miss performing!! T_T
so... since its officially summer vacation...

5. sunglasses- seriously, all the glare from the sun isnt very nice, especially on the beach!

haha! the choir party was so fun~ we had it this friday in the music room~
Golden
it was so funny when we made the teachers play "golden" [sorry, i cant tell you how the game goes, you have to play it to know the rules] long story short, ms alvarez ended up dancing for mr roque!! [we were all shouting and laughing, since we NEVER see our teachers do this stuff] , minji ended up saying a tagalog tongue twister with ms pitargue, ms guieb was SUPPOSED to dance, but she didnt =( , mr roque had to spell his name using his butt... etc it was soooooooo funny!!!!
Choir Idol????
yes, we played chior idol, [the judges were supposed to be me angelo and deki but they thought we'd be biased so they used ms victa, mr roque and ms maristella instead.. grr....]
In the duet division, it was me&danni [we did really really bad, hahah!], loise and bryan [mr danao popped a party popper at them in the middle of their song!] and ate jels & ate kristine [with choreography and all]
and the winner is.... Jels and Kristine!!!! ^^
in the solo div. it was kuya ebon, loise, and angelo... i think its quite obvious who won ahahaha~
Awards Ceremony!
hmmm... this part was... cute.
Best Dressed [teacher]: mrs victa Best Dancer: Ms Alvarez Takaw award: bryan The 3 of them had cute trophy thingys, cute! hahaha
we each had an award... i got the "patience" award, minji got the focused award, etc...
there was also some dancing, especially from ms victa and ms alvarez hahaha! ^^
it was nice, im gonna miss ms malenab~ =(
My weekend
Well, i spent most of my weekend chilling in tagaytay~ i thought it would be nice to go swimming with lana when i got there but....
*upon arriving at tagaytay*
"WHERE'S MY BAG!?!?!?!?"
apparantly my bag wasnt in the car, it was left at home. So for the whole overnight trip, i wore the same outfit. so sad... so i didnt get to go swimming... oh well...
we went to check out the farm places around, i was cheered up by the area whre the floor was covered in a thick layer of rice peat! wheeeeee! it was so fun to jump in the soft dry rice peelings.. hahah i sound like a little kid~
anyway, later that night me got a call to go back to manila right away cuz lola was "going", but we couldnt leave cuz my dad already took his sleeping thingy so we woke up at 5:30 this morning to go straight to lola's. When we got there, we found it was a false alarm, but i felt really bad when i saw her: her eyes seemed empty, dilated and maga her breathing was sharp, irregular and raspy, it was not easy to see her that way, knowing she wont improve. they say its only a matter of time before....
*sigh* once again, i am depressing whoever's reading so ill stop now...
as for now, i have to go study... Last week of school starting tomorrow!!! YAY!

yaaaaaayyy its friday at last! anyway, heres some of the funny/interesting stuff that happened...
The 'guilt' iced tea
It was a day like any other, miera and i were walking back to the classroom from lunch, when i thought id ask miera a trick question and see how she'd take it: me: miera, don't you want to not buy me an iced tea? miera: ......no! ah, yes! ah... me: hahahah! relax im kidding... miera: hey lets tell it to minji and see if shell get it!
miera: hey minji! do you not wanna buy us iced tea?? minji: whaaat???
anyway, it went on and on like that since miera wanted to 'spread' it~ after asking a few people i gave up.. little did i know that miera didnt... she went out of the classroom and after a while i heard:
"carla!!! may iced tea na tayo!!!"
yay!! hahah so i went to the door to see who she convinced to buy us iced tea! i leaned out of the door to see miera "negotiating" with angelo hahahaha
angelo was only offering P10 iced tea, but miera "negotiated" even more and he ended up giving her P20 for me and miera.. we were thrilled at first, until....
*in line in the canteen* me: miera, what did you tell him? howd you get him to actually give you the money??? miera: i said "dont you---" uhm... dont you not want...to buy us iced tea! me: what did he say? miera: yes! me (thinking): uhh miera, i think he was right. miera (shocked) : whaaaat!?! me (after a while of thinking) : ah wait no, sorry he was wrong... hahaha but you shouldve just accepted the P10, kawawa naman angelo miera (starting to feel guilty): ehhh.... ok, lets give him back P10!! me: ok
but after that miera continued to feel gradually guiltier, especially when angelo didnt accept the P10 back! WAHAHAHAH!!!!! i also felt kinda guilty for making miera feel guilty in the first place, hahaha! so we named the iced tea the "guilt" iced tea hahahah! thanks for the iced tea angelo!!!! =))
poor miera..
haaaayy poor miera, on wed. we [me, miera, nour, lei, klar, angelo, tricia and lance] were hanging out in the cafe eating cup noodles [i didnt open mine since i had a weird feeling my car would come once i did, i regret that now... ] and everyone was tripping on miera! awww.....
me: miera never eats lunch... lei: in love kasi! miera: di kaya!! lance: uuyyy!
and we all kept insisting that she was in love [who knows!? she might be! hahaha]
also the comment of angelo when we came in:
angelo: hey! you all look like tall buildings!...oh except for miera klar: yeah, theres the petronas towers, empire state building, and miera is... me: a bungalo.
sorry miera!!!!! luv ya!!! ^^
the others also trapped miera in the little corner between the locker and the door, it kinda looked like she was in an upright coffin! eek! *were all gonna get some really bad karma someday...* but dont get me wrong its not the evil kind of picking on people, this is like how we have fun, its just that miera was the unfortunate subject this time~ who could be next?? =|

yet another guilt trip
AAAAAH!!!! this one made us all feel so bad, some of us even cried!!! apparantly, some people in our class cheated during the com long test, and ms comandao found out... she made us all feel so bad!! even those who didnt cheat! she gave us this long explanation on cheating which was unlike any other sermon ive heard from a teacher... this one had...meaning, and its so much more effective than just shouting at the class... most of us were either crying or on the verge of tears ... sorry ms comandao!!!! WAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! even though i didnt cheat i felt really bad about it.... *sniff*
In hiding
This one was today~ after class we [me nour and miera] wre hanging out in the cafe once again, chatting...[minjis and cristy went home na] and miera and nour were getting so annoyed with the guard who kept paging them since their cars were there na but they were still waiting for their sisters so they hung out with me first, but no matter what they did, the guard just kept on paging them!!!! so they decided to 'disguise" themselves, it was so funny and it actually worked!!! they put down their hair and took of their glasses and when the guard went looking for them he would just pass them by!! hahahhaa!!!!!!
when the guard finally found them [which was after passing them about 10 times!] we hung out outside [i snuck out] and stuff and nikki came along, she finally got her volleyball back! which was confiscated in November and we played a bit~
then miera left and me nikki and nour ate cake from Tamam's birthday, thanks nour!! me and nikki were like "were so kapal!! ahh!!!" "we Should stop eating!!" "im suposed to be abstaining!! wala im stopping na!!"
and yet we still finished the slice of cake hahahaha! thanks nour and tamam! [happy birthday!]
As for now, im here typing this, dead tired since i was cafe today with Louie and Simon~

Argh...
once again~ its the dreaded long test week... aka hell week so far ive managed to stay alive but im gonna die tomorrow.... MATH! noooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! T_T all the formulas!!! GAAAAHH!!! my brain!!! im getting so confused as it is... today in our music test, which i went crazy studying for, and i more or less knew the stuff, look at the debate that was going on in my head, [keep in mind, before the music exam, it was bio and filipino and the day before it was history]:
question: what is the small malaysian gong? wait-- i know this! it starts with a K...kaaaa...kaallll.... Kalimantan!!!! no! thats history! oh yeah... err... kaaa... Kalayaan! no! thats filipino!! ARGH!! kaaaa...kaaaallll... err... its kal-something!! KALIMANTAN!!!!! THATS HISTORY DAMMIT!!!!
it went on and on but i eventually got it hahahhaaaaa..... im so weird~ Then another one:

Formal Dinner!
this year's formal dinnner [for me only] was better than last year... but only for my performance i guess... but it was good ^^
Last year
Last year we had a broadway-disney theme... and i had the....ill-fated task of being Ariel from Little Mermaid... At the recording for the songs [yes, we had to record..] mam found that my voice was not fit for the song so she asked alana to sing it for me but with me still 'acting'. *sigh*... They even made me wear a tail ontop of my skirt, then i had to remove the tail to stand up and 'dance' with 'prince eric' [played by kuya kevin from 4th yr last yr]--- so cheezy! [no offense] lets just say it wasnt my favorite performance =P
this year
My song this year was Castle on a Cloud which i sang with Regine~ and this time they let me do it live *yay!* hahaha....
anyway, this is how the day went:
preparing
I got to school at about 8-ish, just like *almost* everyday...
During bio i just realized how many jobs i had for that day: I was gonna perform for the dinner, be and usherette for the guests and be cafe when we were supposed to be practicing for the performance!!! i was a nervous wreck looking for someone to replace me for cafe, and eventually minji p helped me out~ Thanks minji!!!
we spent most of the morning practicing, also walking around back and forth from the bathroom to the faculty to the music room to the cafe....~ then we showed our outfits for approval [super last minute!] by the time we got a break it was about 1-ish! so i ate lunch with Angelo, Klarisse, Elgimaine and Tricia ^^
Then from 2 to 4 we all rested~ but i left the classroom at 3:30...i couldnt take anymore classes!! i went straight to the music room with the others.. alana also came and helped out a bit and gave me starbucks! yay! ahahaha~
Showtime!
Before we knew it, it was already 5, so we dressed up [i was dying in my stilettos] and the ushers and usherettes [me,reg,eyze,carla t.,loise, cesca, angelo and bryan] went downstairs to "tour" the guests around before taking them to the cafe where louise and cesca were. noone wanted to tour Ms Soliven hahahaha buti nalang she wanted to go straight to the cafe
Then we went in to get ready to perform and stuff... The performers were:
Me, Eyze, Reg, Carla T., Loise, Cesca, Angelo, Bryan, Kuya Ebon, Ate Jels, Ate Justine, Ate Kristine, Ate Kim, and Ate Min Seun. ^^
When i got onstage for the song, i waited for the intro to finish [which felt like hours before it finally ended] i sang the first line and saw the mic was off!!! so i turned it on while singing and there was a bit of feedback~ oh well...after that reg came in and the song was ok from there ^^
The other songs were really nice, "The Gift" is STILL stuck in my head!!! AAAAAAHHH!!! XD
