Grr....
Once again, Im stuck at home, sick. Im so bored!!! i cought this stupid flu from alana who is also sick~ I didnt go to school today and im bored to death!!! it turns out that i was sick for a few days now and now im already on antibiotics~ [as if anyone cares...]
anyway, im trying to create my own blogskin using frontpage and photoshop but im still trying to figure it out and i still need to put photoshop in this comp~ but once i get it, im gonna make my own blogskin!!!i want a new blogskin but all the new ones in blogskins are so icky~ its 4:07 right now..one hour before i can find out what happened at school today... and i think i cant go to school tomorrow too, [they said i should stay home and "rest"] but if i stay here and "rest", im probably gonna die of boredom!! argh...
i seriously need a hobby... using the computer is a waste of life... but then again, i cant do anything else since i have to "rest"!!! all i did today was watch tv and do my art homework~ T_T
*sigh* help~ im gonna go look for a new layout now... bye~

whoa.
today wasnt very boring, quite eventful!! ^^
It was a day like any other....until-
"who has their apron and juliet cap?? i raised my hand " those who have pls come downstairs..."
Today, the founder of our school brought about 150-ish guests to OB, all from Dep Ed. So of course they had to make the school look...better.
The disaster pizza.
So i got to the food tech lab and they were like ok, you guys pretend to be cooking, slicing, etc... just 'be busy' i ended up with the pizza recipe, it wasnt very pretty. Since they said to just PRETEND, i figured that i shouldnt waste all that flour to make the dough so i lessened the amount. but put a LOT of water. big mistake. change of plan! youre really gonna make your recipe!
uh oh.
so i asked nikki to help me and she helped even out the flour-water pasty thing that was supposed to be dough. Eventually, me, nikki, sheikah and mariz were all working with the dough and we put ALOT of extra flour since it was so sticky and gross~ then things went fine, the dough wasnt so sticky and the guests arrived,
me: hello, welcome to the food tech lab, my name is carla barretto im a second year student. pss: hello what is your menu for today?
then i freaked out cuz we were still 'pretending' at that time when she came and i had no idea what the menu was! so i started to invent.... me: well, we have pizza, which is being prepared by my group and, um.... vegetables being prepared my the others for....vegetable dishes.... salad!]
guest: what kind of salad?
me: uhm... well, im sorry i dont know because im... not in that group.
pss: will you have menu sampling later?
me: well, i dont know but if you like you can ask our teacher over there-
pss: no, you go ask her.
me: uhm, ok...
then i went and asked and by the time i got back to the door they left~ *first batch done!*
sweet pizza sauce?!!? X_x
yes, our pizza sauce was also kinda bad : at first, when we mixed up all the sauce ingredients, it smelled kinda good but when i tasted it... it was sour!!! so we tried to add some sugar then it became too sweet! so we tried to thicken it with ketchup and spices, but no luck. but it was ok, at least better than the crust~
since we had no yeast, the pizza dough ended up looking like giant ostias or stone tablets...eew.
then two more batches of guests came and took pics with us, [very bizzare] and interrogated us about the pizza~
but overall it was fun ^^
Then we had choir prac and stuff~ then i waited and waited and waited for my sundo~ and they forgot to pick me up! i just got home now and im soooooooo sleepy -_-
As for yesterday...
yesterday was the merienda buffet and i was an usherette~ it was all fine except my shoes were killing me and they still hurt now!!! im never wearing those sandals again~ it was fun and we got to eat and stuff~ nour got addicted to the lemons!! *sigh* im too tired to type about the details... nothing much interesting happened anyway~ bye!

finally, a 'classes suspended' day!
At last!!! this friday, classes were suspended to half-day! [ but its actually kinda unfair because other schools didnt have class at all..] but at least school was cut short! ^^
anyway, this weekend wasnt really that great, it was more of a resting weekend but i dunno what im gonna do today, probably go to town ^^....
yesterday, [saturday] i went to the house of my cousins and we all hung out for a while then i went back home and stayed there. isnt this so interesting???? :P
anyway, now im just here at home... typing this and looking for a new blogskin.. the blogkins these days are so baduy... its so frustrating. which is why when alana gets the photoshop program on this comp, im gonna make my own blogskin! ha!
well, thats about it... heheheh this must have been my most boring post yet... bye~

Report card results!!!!
-ok, here are my report card grades. Its not great but at least i passed!
Filipino: 83 [could be better...] English: 87 [not bad, i got low because of anne frank!! ] Spanish: 87 [muy bien!!] Math: 78 [its really bad but i passed!! woohoo!] Bio: 82 [stupid glycolysis!!!] History: 83 [its not easy to memorize the japanese, chinese and korean names!] Values education: 87 [thank God!!] RHGP: 89 [yay!] Food tech: 80 [ i always hated computation...] Computer: 94 [must be becuase of all the time i spend on the comp!and the teacher is nice too =)] Music: 88 [i like music ^^] PE: 88 [ not bad, ^^] LT: 89 ["sir, thank you sir!" *salutes* ] P.D.: Standard [Standard?!?!!? T_T ] quarterly Average: 83.93= B3 [nooooooo i was aiming for B2.... T_T]
Teachers remarks: "Can appropriately express and verbalize thoughts and feelings when the need arises. " [ i always get that remark... -_-]
well there it is... hopefully my grades get better this quarter, so far, im already doing better in math~ but ms. sabido wont be our teacher anymore! nooooooo..... T_T *sigh* well, thats all, bye! ^^

MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
Today rocked!!! and apparantly, i got the last laugh today~ here was my predicament:
Today was OB's PD day which meant that all OBMCI students had no class! so me and my friends planned that we either go to town or we go swimming in cittadella. It was all going fine until they all cancelled on me yesterday. I was really bummed cuz i knew i would end up going to town anyway...ALONE.
In town...
The first hour was really bad cuz my mom dropped me off really early so i had to wait an hour for opening time, i didnt wanna wait that long so i decided to look for a different entrance that was open. when i got to Makati supermart, i got stranded there because it started raining and the other exit was still blocked cuz it wasnt opening time yet... so i waited and waited and waited.... finally, the back entrance/exit opened! *yay!* there was also this funny misunderstanding, i texted my mom: me: waaah im stuck in the rain in makati!! apparantly, my mom thought alana was using my phone and was cutting class by going to makati! we all died of laughter when i explained that i was in makati SUPERMARKET :))
text: wru? report. me: im in atc text: then whats this of you being in makati?!?! me: no, i meant makati supermarket. text:...ok. WAHAHAHAH!!!
talk about good luck...
After a while of walking around, i saw the stage in the activity center for the magic show, "The Magic of Curtis" he was really good, he was a magician from the states... Anyway, since i had nothing else to do, i went to customer service to ask about the tickets:
me: hi! uhm, are you still selling tickets for the show? lady: oh, yeah we are, you know what, ill just give you the tickets for free...*gives me 2 pink tickets* me: wow, cool! thanks so much! lady: oh yeah, do you wanna meet him? [the magician] me: uhhmm... ok lady: here ill also give you this meet and greet stub. *gives me pink meet and greet ticket* me: cool! thank you!
and what made it lucky? the tickets were originally given to people who payed P500 worth of something or something like that and i got them for FREE!!! WOOHOO!!
the show was pretty good especially the finale when he did the Houdini thing ^^
*meet and greet* At the meet and greet we were actually kinda few who had the meet and greet stubsit was just me and this family... i also got to talk to him: me:Hi, im carla. curtis: hi carla, *shakes my hand* me: nice to meet you, you know, im also from the states~ curtis: oh? where? me: LA, curtis: oh, nice, so are you just visiting here? me:no, i live here.. curtis: oh wow, so is it nice? me: yeah, its good.... *PICTURE! CLICK!* me:thanks, nice meeting you...
after that i went to have lunch [mmmm.... sizzling teriyaki!] then i had no more money and my mom picked me up to go to the office of my grandma and i helped sort out all the jewels and pearls and stuff, my OC-ness really came out cuz i got so OC about keeping everything in my pile in order! hahah then we went to pick up alana from school and went home! so i had a great and lucky day! now im dead tired... bye!

ok, heres an entry from my actual diary (not my blog) i wrote it last night....
A very embarrasing yet funny event happened to me the other day, [i have alana, mikki and pammu as witnesses plus the scar to prove it!] It was already dark and we were hanging out in the den, After a while, i decided to get my phone from upstairs, but my trip was cut short when i walked straight into the glass sliding door!!! apparantly it was so dark that there were no reflections on the door for me to see... then there was a weird taste in my my mouth and i realized it was blood... it didnt really hurt though...
As for school, we got our IDs and they look really stupid and OB reached the height of cheapness cuz they used last years pics! ugh.. and im kinda depressed again im not exactly sure why but i feel really down lately~
the rest isnt very interesting unless you want to be bored to death~
i also saw the sunset on the way back from westgate and i got.... inspired? its not very polished but its a start, its kinda more of a symbolism thing~:
The sun slowly sinks, the sky- blood red I long to capture this moment to preserve it forever i wish i could, but i cant. the moment is disappearing slowly as the sun disappears over the horizon the moment taunts me, for i shall never see the same thing again and i have no way of stopping it All i can do is try to hold on to the faint picture but like trying to hold water in your hands, its swiftly trickling away....
hehehe oh well... now im looking for a new blogskin and chatting with pam~

Tuesday
It was the swap meet! i sold the bottles with colored salt inside and all of it sold out! YAY! but as for the bracelets i needed some help from my *very good businesswomen* friends ^^ and i bought a pair of pants from minji fro P100! (you dont find nice pants that cheap anymore!) and a pair of cute earrings for ony P30 (according to Klarisse the original price she bought the same pair for in a different place was P60! ) hehee there were some good bargains (like a sharpener for P1 each!) and some not so good (there was a kid who was selling exactly what i sold last year *copycat!* ) but as a whole it was pretty good! i made about P1150 ^^ yay! we also had hardly any class for the entire day ^^
Wednesday
It was kinda hard to go back to writing notes all day after the swap meet... (especially since our 1st subj, was 2 hrs of math!!! But we had 2 hours of free time because they had prac for the science in the kitchen thing. woohoo!!
Today
I actually thought today would be classes suspended cuz at about 5am it was raining like crazy and i even had to go downstairs to bring in the dogs. But when i woke up again at 7, and i saw the bright sunlight spilling in through the windows and the first thought in my head was the line The happiness of the sunlight is mocking me... but the day turned out ok when we had mass, thus taking up half of bio time! muahahahaha!!!
me and my friends (except miera) discussed our suspicions about miera liking someone who we have codenamed "soap" (because i was talking about it with nour and we were looking for a codename to call the guy and i saw the soap beside the sink so i just said SOAP!)hahaha dont worry miera, we already know who he is ^^
now im chatting with pam! i found a foreign audible that i can thoroughly relate to (IM me to find out!)
